Coltura Promiscua at Interlace Farm
Coltura Promiscua is an ongoing, self-perpetuating installation of trees, shrubs, vines, and herbs that form a living classroom at Interlace Agroforestry’s Field School in Wallonsburgh, New York. The project aims to demonstrate how ancient practices adapted to a novel context can be a shovel-ready climate mitigation and adaptation tool. The project is a collaboration among landscape designers, agroforestry practitioners, and community members, and will gather diverse networks of people around the climate mitigation and adaptation techniques of agroforestry.
